“With vocals and guitar shreds reminiscent of masters of rock like KISS and Metallica - and intelligent commentary ala Rush - Mechanics of the Mind deliver a solid, head-banging trip of a song with 'Rubber Bullets.’”

““The guitar and bass sound really good together. The drums are nice as well. The song went to the fast part very abruptly. The singer has a pretty cool voice and it fits well. The lyrics are a little weird at times, especially at the holy well part. The song is very angry and well produced. The levels are perfect as well.””

““Nice hard intense introduction. The guitars are flawless and perfect. Excellent choice of effect on the guitars. The vocals are intense and in your face. Good mix on the music. Great bass work. The choice of vocal melody is a little abstract to the ears. I'm sure true head bangers would love this"”

"There is a balance between the screaming and the heavier singing, they bring so much variation and depth to the song. The whole idea of the thrash metal singing with the other components are an ingenious move on the orchestration of the song. I would love to see these guys in person, they sound like they have it all down pat as far as how to make a song like this one. Energy and uniqueness all in one. The quality is above mediocre. This is above average on so many levels, it is a masterpiece and should be played on the radio immediately. I guarantee they will be loved and have a lot of fans wanting to jam with them over and over. They have so much to offer their listeners, the tempo, beat and rhythm are virtually joined at the hip so much that they could marry. There are no parts of the song that i disliked. This is a great piece of music.”

““Whoosh, in goes the notes of the music behind the singing. The rock and roll theme of this one turns into a thrash metal slash rock song. I really love the two variations that meld into each other together like that. The heavy rock and roll quality is truly done well. I think there is much energy and overall structure to this one. There is a good set of harmonies as far as this genre goes, the melodies really scream at you that they are having fun doing this. They are quite serious and are passionate and talented at what they do. That music is really something else too. I like the way it really goes with the singing instead of working against it. They chose all the right components and style with this rocking tune. This tone is something I would recommend for anyone who likes this genre of music. The chorus is unusually plain to be able to hear and this is a good thing. You don't hear that that often in this type of song so it 's plus for me.”

““Good guitar riff through the song. Great drumming. The lead vocals are very strong. The melody is not very unique, it sounds like a lot of other songs in this genre. But the lead vocals are so impressive that it makes up for it.””

““I like this song. I feel his anger. music is Metallica like , loud and fast. he tells a good story, clear words. I would listen again. I think it will be a hit especially in the metal or rock and roll world. I like it. it could be its own rock opera .””

““With a reminiscent core of the likes of Slipknot, Rob Zombie-like gory lyrics, and headbanging worthy vocals similar to that of Five Finger Death Punch, this track obviously displays a fact that Hard Rock still lives on and grows in a big way. With guitar riffs and drum beats to die for, this is a song I'll "Never Forget "!””

““There is a very intense metal vibe coming from this song when it starts. It comes in with some very very very strong chords on the electric guitar. They are very powerful. The vocals over power even the guitar and is very fierce on its own. It has great tone to it. The vocals are very deep and vibe well with the low key guitar chords. The distortion is perfect on this song. Being a guitarist my self I would know. That is my proof bro. All over this song has great composition. I think that this song will likely become a great hit on many metal station and gain popularity among that type of music scene. I like this song very much. I rate it a 9 out of 10.””

““This is a decent rock song. There isnt a beat, but there is rhythm. It is very heavy and very dark in nature. The lyrics are clear and the voice is audible. Singing is decent and there is some harmonizing going on here. I am a huge fan of hard rock and heavy metal. That being said this song gets a rating of 10 out of 10. I would give it higher, all the way up to 15, but this is a 1-10 scale, so 10 being the best, is what I am going with.””

““I like the real instruments, the live band. The guitar core rift is very classic, very grunge rock or hard rock. I like the organization of the music. The energy is good, the lyrics are pretty cool. I think the performer did a spectacular job at delivering a unique performance. The other band mates are killing it on the instrument accompaniment. I only feel like more crashes should be prevalent along with the " I roll the devils dice." line. big crashes would make it really feel powerful, and aid in the tension they were creating.””

““Thrusting metal that feels like the year 1996 with a riveting back and forth rhythm that is reminiscent of Man in the box by Alice and Chains. The vocals are clear and still heavy. The bass is mixed too high resulting in a bit of muffle. But still, I am banging my head and that is a good thing.””

““This song started really quickly and fast. I was really tired and then this song woke me up! I enjoyed the instruments that were played! And the melody and elements were played real well! I liked his voice a lot, because he wasn't yelling the whole time. I would of enjoyed it a little more if the music was lower then his voice, because sometimes it got confusing! I would like to see this song played on the radio!””

““The electric guitar is very nice. This song makes me want to shake my head up and down. I think this song would be very good live. This is the type of music I imagine listening to in a underground concert. The music and the voice are very well matched. The lyrics are hard to understand. This song is very powerful. And the screamo is a very nice touch. I think emos would like this song. I imagine crushing skulls to this music. And listening to this during the night time.””

““Wicked use of guitar. Also, the lyrics are great using imagery, it really makes you picture what the song`s talking about. I think it`s an awesome song. It reminds me a bit of Manson mixed with some black metal elements, and it`s done very well. I`d listen to this song again. It`s great, nothing bad to say about it.””

““This rock singer has a great voice. the creepy background music is perfect for a song like this. This song is fun and cool to listen to. I don't really like rock songs but this is a good one because it has a good beat to it. The singer is great. The lyrics were kind of all over the place. However, the guitar portion of the song is very well performed.””

““The vocals were very easy to compare to korn or Metallica. Its a good start to a few more future pieces. Lyrics in this song could use some work because they are rather difficult to comprehend. However the instrumentals were completely on point with my interests, the mesh well with the rest of the piece.””

““Theatrical heavy metal has that demonic vibe with a hellish singer and snarling guitars with fire and brimstone lyrics. The bands sound here is actually more M Manson than Ozzy but it all adds up to the same thing. Disaffected and alienated posturing with psycho sounding licks and provocative chorus dominate. Pretty sure this band will have a smoking stage show.””

““Awesome drum rolls in the intro. Short and quick to the point introduction. The vocal comes in on bar 3 which is a very cool format. The guitar has a awesome riff and solo during the verse. Very unique and cool. The lyrics are cool. This record has a good sound but not a big sound. Go for a bigger sound in the mix. The instrumentation is good. The tempo changes and feel are good. Excellent metal record.””

““Good rock n' roll is always hard to come by. This right here is some really good music. This song makes me want to dance and wave my hair as well as my hands back and forth with a lighter in my hand. Great vocals every word sounds very clear and makes me want to sing along with them. Bang has a lot of potential. I believe they will make it real far if they continue to make this type of music. Beat is great and drums are awesome. Thanks for the music!””

““A memorable melody from the guitar sounds very original to started this unique song. The vocalist has a warm voice and also that is good element from the singer. The artist features great variation compared to another artist considering the singer vocal is pretty fantastic. Well-balanced musical arrangement from the singer creates a energetic music having calming melody. The artist are professional artist! Regarding commercial intent this unique song seems to have a terrific opportunity for being successful. I like this song.””

““The vocalists voice is deep and rich, i'm loving how it reflects against the instrumental. The musicians seem extremely skilled and I love the progression within the song, it keeps my head banging and my mind interested. I could hear this song making it 's way around north america for the beat alone. At point the lyrics do became a little repetitive and near the end of the song, although you have the lyrics stuck in your head in certain parts it feels like they were just put on a loop. The recording quality is superb and these guys seem driven.””

“The music has a strong underlying grunge era sound akin to Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, and Alice in Chains, even some of Faith No More’s melodic sensibilities are thrown in. Of the three songs I listened to the one that shines is Gamble With The Devil. It’s a great hard rock song that starts out with a subtle bass intro then crescendo’s into gear with a nice groove that leads into a memorable chorus. The verse is catchy too but that damn pre-chorus is awesome as it ascends up the scale and brings to mind a Mike Patton warbly vocal styling that kicks ass. Mechanics Of The Mind has a lot to offer for those that are seeking a more hard rock sound versus a heavy metal sound. Though they do tend to walk the line between the two much of the time. I’ll be looking out for their full album release next year”

“Mechanics Of The Mind’s latest new single Rubber Bullets is a rocking out, great fucking song. Its makes you want to get out of your seat or really anywhere and start head banging! It definitely gets your adrenaline pumping and flowing to point you could probably head bang all night long! The combination of the riffs and bass tones are sick!! The drums are fucking phenomenal, very very remarkable work! Its a must to listen to this new single! The vocals are excellent! These guys are very unique and I wouldn't compare them to anyone. They definitely have have their own thing! Rock on guys!”
